Having a Rootin' Tootin' Time Kahoot'in

Third grade teacher, Amy Timson, had all the third graders for a "technology day" during their grade level's Rotation Day. She had prepared several Kahoots for them to do.

What is Kahoot? Kahoot is a game-based classroom response system. Students logged into their laptops and entered the "pin" number of the game. Mrs. Timson had prepared all the questions for the game so that the students could review their Science unit.

Once they entered the pin number, they could put in their nickname or their real name - and the fun began.

Mrs. Timson would reveal a question, students had a time limit to respond, and the first correct responders' names were displayed.  There is really cool sounding music that plays while taking responses, that builds up the excitement.  Kahoot kept track of the scores, and displayed who the top scorers were -  after each question and for the entire game. This made for quite a competition!
Time flew by, and left them asking for more work!
